We are thrilled to announce our sponsorship of the upcoming "Miles for Smiles" event, organised by Dentsply Sirona UK, in support of Dentaid The Dental Charity.
On Friday, 5th July 2024, participants will embark on a 13 mile walk from Teddington Lock in Richmond Upon Thames to Dentsply Sirona UK's office in Weybridge, Surrey.
This inspiring event brings together colleagues, friends, family members, and the wider dental community to raise funds and awareness for a cause close to our hearts: providing oral health care to the most vulnerable communities.
Dentaid The Dental Charity is doing remarkable work throughout the UK.
Their mobile dental units visit hostels, day centres, and night shelters, offering emergency treatment to those who face challenges accessing dental care.
They also run clinics for refugees, asylum seekers, head and neck cancer patients, veterans, children in areas of social deprivation, and victims of domestic violence.
As a dental lab, we understand the profound impact of good oral health on an individual's overall well-being. We see firsthand how a healthy smile can restore confidence, improve social interactions, and enhance quality of life.
It's heartbreaking to think that many people in our communities are suffering from dental problems due to a lack of access to care. By supporting Dentaid, we are helping to restore smiles to those who need them most.
