10,000 cases. That’s 10,000 patients who have trusted the work we do. 10,000 times, we’ve played a small but vital role in restoring someone’s smile.

It’s humbling to think about. And if you’d told me 10 years ago that I’d personally design every single one of them, I don’t think I would have believed you.

But here we are, with thousands of cases, hours, and moments where each team member has made a significant difference. It's a collective effort that we can all take pride in.

Mastery Through Repetition

There is a saying that it takes 10,000 hours to master a skill. While true, it does not tell you that each hour teaches something new.

No two cases are ever identical. Some designs come together effortlessly, while others necessitate adjustments, problem-solving, or a fresh perspective. This is where experience and teamwork make all the difference. We've faced challenges that tested our skills and patience, but we've always emerged stronger and more capable, thanks to our collective efforts.

10,000 Designs, One Shared Vision

Some of our biggest breakthroughs haven’t come from working in isolation. I remember long discussions with Gunilla and her team at Atlantis, dissecting tiny details that others might overlook. A subtle angle shift and a slight adjustment in the emergence profile are small things that made a big difference in patient outcomes.

That’s what a decade of collaboration looks like: not just working together but constantly pushing to refine and improve, never settling for “good enough.”

A Team Effort

Behind each of those 10,000 cases lies the combined efforts of the Nexus and Dentsply Atlantis teams.

The technicians, support staff, and every individual play a crucial role. They ensure that what I input into the design software translates seamlessly into reality. They are the reason we can deliver at this level, case after case, without compromise. I may design the abutments, but the teams bring them to life.

Looking Ahead

Every case we have worked on is founded on trust between our team, partners, and the clinicians we support.

I am most grateful for that, and I look forward to the subsequent 10,000 cases-not just the work we do but also the relationships that make it worthwhile.

Thank you to the Nexus team, Gunilla, the Atlantis family, and every clinician who has trusted us. Your support and trust have been the cornerstone of our success.

Here’s to the next 10,000. Looking ahead, we're excited about the possibilities and challenges the future holds. We're committed to continuing our journey with the same dedication and passion, and we look forward to achieving even greater success with your continued support.

Best wishes,

Steve Campbell, MD
